Therapeutic Massage therapy is a style of massage therapy which focuses on getting results Vs. just relaxing . (even though you will still be relaxed).
Using this term indicates that the purpose of the massage is to achieve a structural change or therapeutic benefit in the body. It is a style of treatment where the massage therapist mobilizes your soft tissue (muscle, tendons, fasica etc.) to restore normal functional use.
You should expect to feel great long after your therapeutic massage session ends, instead of just relaxing for an hour.
Respect Massage, brought to you by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, was created to protect massage therapists from solicitations. The Respect Massage mission is to educate and empower massage therapists so they can easily spot, deter, and escape from clients that are looking for “extras.”
